Do You Enjoy?
At the end of the show
they come to me, and ask:
did you enjoy it?
This is the most agonizing question.
People often say, enjoy the moment,
enjoy whatever you do,
enjoy the life... etc... etc...
I ask my heart,
what it means by enjoying?
and it starts crying.
I wonder if it's ever known an answer to it.
Yes I did, I say with a smile.
And they think my eyes are damp of happiness.
